nearly three decades.
Extensive experience in construction, working hands-on throughout college, driving heavy equipment, and being involved directly in the construction industry.
Began his career in materials testing for a large company in Phoenix, where as an engineer in training, he performed fieldwork, sampling asphalt and concrete, conducted lab tests and compiled detailed engineering reports.
Earned his engineering license in 2001, and became the supervisor of a company overseeing special inspections for post-tension foundations and concrete.
Early career also involved significant forensic investigation work for homebuilders, analyzing foundation problems and soil interactions, providing him with a strong background in diagnosing and resolving foundation issues.
Earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from ASU in 2003 and went to work for the nation's second largest concrete contractor as the Director of Corporate Leadership and Development. He gained invaluable experience there, giving him insight into the concrete contractor's perspective and operational challenges.
Started his own engineering firm in 2005, providing geotechnical engineering services, special inspection and forensic evaluations to many of the top homebuilders in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area magnifying his understanding of soil preparation and its impact on foundations.
His experience and expertise span from the initial stages of construction, dealing with soil and foundation preparation, to addressing and resolving complex foundation issues, offering a comprehensive understanding of the entire process from end to end.
